Best Lunch Spots On The Gold Coast

Feeling a little hungry? Need to pick the ultimate lunch spot? Spoilt for choice? Don’t you worry, we have tried and tested the Gold Coast’s best to find you the cream of the crop! Here are seven of our favourite lunch spots on the Gold Coast.

The Roost @ 53 / Southport

The Roost is all about BIG servings and even BIGGER flavour! Although they have a menu, their daily specials are where it’s at. Sometimes it seems like the chefs at Roost are making foods straight from our dreams. Ever dreamt of a mac and cheese and meatball sub? Because they’ve done it. How about Monte Cristo French toast? They’ve done that too.

Alfred’s Diner / Mermaid Beach

When Alfred’s Diner say they sell gourmet street food, they are really not kidding. Although the food may look and sound simple, your taste buds will be dancing. Speaking of dancing taste buds, we highly recommend the pulled pork burrito!

Blendlove / Southport

This one is for the vegans and the vegetarians (I know you are out there… it’s the Gold Coast people!) But don’t be fooled meat lovers, you will be loving Blendlove too. Jam packed full of flavour and obviously healthy, there is really no downsides.

1/253 Ferry Rd, Southport QLD 4215

Cutie Cutie Diner / Molendinar

As far as fusion restaurants go Cutie Cutie Diner has got to be the cream of the crop. From teriyaki chicken burgers to savoury Japanese waffles, this American-Japanese fusion joint is hitting all the right notes.

458 Olsen Ave, Molendinar QLD

Poke Poke / Mermaid Beach

Poke Poke will make you want to hokey pokey, well at the very least it will make you want to go for a light jog. If you don’t know what Poke is, it’s basically just a rice bowl with lots of yummy stuff mixed together. Translation: they are light and healthy meals that will make you feel food and want more.

Junk Boat / Broadbeach

Junk Boat is a new kid on the block (well for the Gold Coast anyway). To be honest, I don’t think I have to say much more than ‘Asian street food’. It’s got everything from baos, to spring rolls to rice bowls. To top it all off, they are quirky AF.

Cabukee / Emerald Lakes

If the beautiful European-inspired backdrop of Emerald Lakes wasn’t enticing enough Cabukee’s seasonal menus will be sure to bring you running over (or more so driving over). With food that is fresh, tasty and healthy, Cabukee has really hit the food trifecta. Oh, and there is an added bonus, they are dog friendly… YAY!
