What Is The Sand Safari Arts Festival?
The 2018 Sand Safari Arts Festival is a sand sculpting spectacle right in the heart of the Gold Coast. Each of the life-sized sand sculptures will embody a different sporting theme and will feature scenes with mythical creatures, animals and people. Ultimately, this year’s arts festival aims at bringing together the themes of sand, sea and sport. There will even be inflatable sea creatures scattered around Surfers Paradise in honour of the festival.
When Is It?
This sand festival will take place over 17 days, from the 9th of February to the 25th of February.
Where Is It?
These sand sculptures will be popping up all over the sands and streets of Surfers Paradise.
This FREE event is for everyone (kids and grandparents and everyone in between). It features the Australian Sand Sculpting Championships and will include sand sculptures by some of the country’s most talented sculptors.
